Mobcast enables consumers to read eBooks on any connected device such as eReaders, tablets, PCs or mobile phones. Mobcast has acquired key publishers' eBook catalogues and built a digital bookstore platform to sell eBooks to consumers quickly and easily.
Mobcast also integrates mobile billing systems, allowing consumers to place payments directly through their mobile phone.
In 2011, the company is well on its way to allow its key clients to take a share of the digital book market estimated to represent 50 per cent of book sales in the USA (US$12 billion) and at least 10 per cent of book sales in Western Europe by 2015.
Mobcast works with a number of market-leading commercial partners – including Mobile Network Operators, Book Retailers and Device Manufacturers – who are enjoying new revenue streams from the digital book retailing capabilities provided by Mobcast, and publishers whose content is being distributed into new and diverse channels via Mobcast's network of third-party app stores and white-label eShops, allowing the Mobcast Digital Book Superstore to be cosmetically branded and integrated with respective billing engines.
Mobcast has engineered a unique, end-to-end solution for producing and selling digital books directly to personal computers, tablets, smartphones, feature phones and dedicated eReaders: the Mobcast Digital Book Superstore.
