BookingBug is an online booking and reservation system that allows businesses to distribute their availability over all of their online presences. Showing real-time information and taking in-line bookings and payments, BookingBug is fast becoming one of the cornerstones of the web for small businesses and service providers.
From mobile DJs, wedding photographers and chiropractors to squash courts, cottage lettings and holiday villas, BookingBug's technology reduces administration and widens reach for a huge range of time and service-based businesses.
Since its launch at the beginning of 2010, BookingBug has already formed numerous partnerships with large and small business directories and is already recognised as one of the most powerful booking systems online.
BookingBug seamlessly integrates into stand alone websites and online directories as well as Facebook, WordPress and Google Gadgets. Using the new application programme interface (API), a business's real-time information can be channelled into unlimited configurations. Our first Android and iPhone apps are already being tested.
Each business's calendar is not only displayed on their own site, but everywhere a customer, existing or prospective, is searching for that business online. Its customisable widgets can be embedded almost anywhere.
BookingBug uses a software-as-a-service (SAAS) model, which creates revenue by charging businesses a subscription for using the service as well as taking a share of affiliate revenues of bookings taken on third party sites.
